Questions
How is XML turned into JSON?
Each element becomes a key. Attributes get an @ in front (@id), text next to child elements goes in #text, and repeated elements become a list.
It says my XML is not valid. Why?
Common causes: a tag not closed, tags closed in the wrong order, a bare & (write &), or two top-level elements. The message names the problem.
Is my data private?
Yes. Everything happens inside your own browser: nothing you type or choose is uploaded to us or anyone else.
Is it free?
Completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many times you use it. Light ads keep the site running.
