Good to know

Questions
How do I select a word on a phone?
Slide your finger from the first letter to the last. If sliding is awkward, tap the first letter (it lights up) and then tap the last letter.
What changes with each level?
Easy hides words only left to right and top to bottom on a 9 × 9 grid. Medium adds diagonals on 11 × 11. Hard uses all eight directions, including backwards, on 13 × 13.
Can I make a puzzle with my own spelling words?
Yes. Choose “My own words”, type or paste the words, and press New puzzle. Words longer than the grid are skipped and you are told how many did not fit.
Is my data private?
Yes. Everything happens inside your own browser: nothing you type or choose is uploaded to us or anyone else.
