Vibration Test: Check Your Phone’s Vibration Motor Online

Is your phone’s vibration working? Tap a pattern to feel a short buzz, a long buzz, a double tap, a heartbeat, an SOS signal, a ringtone or an escalating pattern. Developers and designers can type their own pattern in milliseconds to try it before using it in an app or website.

How to test your phone’s vibration

  1. Tap any pattern button and feel the buzz.
  2. Type your own pattern (buzz, pause, buzz… in milliseconds) and press Play my pattern.
  3. Press Stop to end a long pattern early.

Good to know

  • A weak or rattling buzz on every pattern can mean a worn vibration motor or a loose part: a phone repair shop can check it.

Questions

Why does nothing happen on my iPhone?

Apple does not let websites vibrate the phone, in any browser. The tool tells you when vibration is not available. On Android, Chrome, Edge, Samsung Internet and Firefox support it.

How do I write my own pattern?

Type numbers in milliseconds, alternating buzz and pause: “200, 100, 200” means buzz for 0.2 s, pause 0.1 s, buzz 0.2 s. 1000 milliseconds is one second.

It is supported but I feel nothing.

Check that vibration is switched on in your sound settings, that “do not disturb” or power saving is not blocking it, and that this tab is in front.

Is my data private?

Yes. Everything happens inside your own browser: nothing you type or choose is uploaded to us or anyone else.

Is it free?

Completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many times you use it. Light ads keep the site running.
