Find today’s or any day’s sunrise, sunset, solar noon, first and last light, golden hour and day length, plus Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha prayer times. Pick a city, use your location or type coordinates; everything is calculated on your device with standard astronomical formulas, with the main calculation methods and Hanafi or standard Asr.
loading toolHow to find sunrise, sunset and prayer times
- Pick a city, press Use my location, or type latitude and longitude.
- Choose the date.
- Read the sun times, then choose your prayer calculation method and Asr school.
Good to know
- Golden hour (soft warm light for photos) is when the sun is low, about an hour before sunset.
- Near the poles the sun may not set or rise; the tool says so and estimates Fajr and Isha when the sky never gets fully dark.
Questions
How accurate are the times?
Within about a minute for most places. Mountains, buildings and unusual air can shift what you actually see by a few minutes. Local mosques may add a few minutes of caution to prayer times.
Which prayer calculation method should I choose?
Use the one your local mosque or community follows: for example Umm al-Qura in Saudi Arabia, Karachi in Pakistan and India, ISNA in North America, Egyptian in Egypt, and Muslim World League in much of Europe.
Is my location sent anywhere?
No. “Use my location” only fills in the latitude and longitude on this page; the calculation happens on your device.
Is my data private?
Yes. Everything happens inside your own browser: nothing you type or choose is uploaded to us or anyone else.
Is it free?
Completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many times you use it. Light ads keep the site running.
