Snakes and Ladders Online: Play with 2–4 Players on One Device

Climb the ladders, slide down the snakes and be first to reach square 100. Play with family on one phone or tablet: 2 to 4 players, and any of them can be the computer. The dice is truly random, tokens move square by square so little ones can count along, and you can choose house rules such as needing the exact number to finish.

Questions

Is the dice fair?

Yes. Each roll uses your browser’s secure random generator, so every number from 1 to 6 is equally likely and no player gets an advantage.

What does “exact number to land on 100” mean?

If the roll would take you past 100, your token goes to 100 and bounces back by the extra steps. Untick it to let any roll that reaches 100 win.

Is there any skill involved?

No: snakes and ladders is pure luck, which is why it is perfect for young children learning to count and to take turns.

Yes. Everything happens inside your own browser: nothing you type or choose is uploaded to us or anyone else.
