Questions
Is this a legally valid signature?
It places a picture of your signature, like signing a printout and scanning it. Many everyday documents accept that. Some contracts and government filings need a certified digital signature (such as Aadhaar eSign or a DSC token); check what the receiver asks for.
Can I sign on every page?
Yes. Choose “Every page” under “Put it on” for documents that need initials on each page, or “Last page” for the usual signature spot.
How do I get a clean signature from paper?
Sign with a dark pen on plain white paper, take a well-lit photo from straight above, crop it close, and choose Upload. Keep “Make the white paper see-through” ticked.
My PDF says it is password-protected. What now?
If you know the password, open it with our Remove PDF Password tool first, then come back. We cannot (and will not) break passwords you do not have.
Is my data private?
Yes. Everything happens inside your own browser: nothing you type or choose is uploaded to us or anyone else.
Is it free?
Completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many times you use it. Light ads keep the site running.
