Nonograms, also called griddlers or picture cross puzzles, hide a picture in a grid. The numbers beside each row and above each column tell you the lengths of the filled blocks in that line, in order. Work out which squares must be filled and which must stay empty, and a heart, a cat or a boat appears. Every puzzle here is checked to be solvable by pure logic.

Questions
How do I read the clues?
“3 1” means that line has a block of 3 filled squares, then at least one gap, then a single filled square. A clue of 0 means the whole line is empty.
Where should I start?
Look for big numbers. In a 10-square row, a clue of 8 means the middle 6 squares must be filled whatever the position of the block. Mark squares you know are empty with ✕ to keep track.
Do I ever have to guess?
No. Before you see a puzzle, our solver checks it can be finished one line at a time using only the clues. If it cannot, a different puzzle is made.
