A field of squares hides a number of mines. Open a square and it shows how many mines touch it, counting all eight neighbours. Use those numbers to work out where the mines must be, flag them, and open every safe square to win. Your first tap is always safe and opens an empty area to get you started.

Questions
How do I flag a mine on a phone?
Long-press a square, or switch on Flag mode so that every tap places or removes a flag. On a computer, right-click.
What does tapping a number do?
If a number already has that many flags around it, tapping it opens all its other neighbours at once. It saves time, but a wrong flag will set off a mine.
Is it just luck?
Mostly logic. Very occasionally, near the end, two squares can be equally likely and you have to guess, as in any version of this classic game.
