How to keep the daily hisab

  1. Open “Add milk, newspaper, maid…”, type the name, rate per unit, usual quantity per day and the start date.
  2. Each month the calendar counts the usual quantity for every day up to today.
  3. Tap any day to mark it off, double it or type an exact quantity (for example 1.5 litres).
  4. When you pay, save the payment. Share the bill on WhatsApp before paying so both sides agree.

Good to know

  • For a maid or cook, use “visit” as the unit, 1 as the usual quantity and the monthly pay divided by the days in a month as the rate, or simply the per-visit rate you agreed.
  • Green days are the usual quantity, red days are off and blue days are changed, so a glance shows the month.
  • The line under the payment shows the total still to pay across all months, including any older balance.
  • If the rate changes, add a new entry with the new rate from that date and stop using the old one.

Questions

Where is my data saved?

Only in this browser on this device, the way a chat app keeps chats on your phone. Nothing is uploaded and there is no account. Use Backup to save a copy as a file (Restore brings it back, even on another phone or computer), and back up before clearing your browser data. The My Data tool backs up every record tool in one go.

Does it count days in the future?

No. Only days from the start date up to today are counted, so the bill for the current month grows day by day.

Can I track milk from two vendors?

Yes. Add each as a separate item and switch between them at the top. Each has its own calendar, bill and payments.

How is the bill worked out?

Total quantity for the month × rate. For example 30 litres at ₹60 = ₹1,800. Payments for that month are subtracted to give the balance.

Is my data private?

Yes. Everything happens inside your own browser: nothing you type or choose is uploaded to us or anyone else.

Is it free?

Completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many times you use it. Light ads keep the site running.
