बूझो तो जानें! Rhyming Hindi riddles (पहेलियाँ) in proper Devanagari, written by us in the traditional style: two short lines that describe something from everyday life, such as अनार, पतंग, कोयल, घड़ी, माचिस or झाड़ू. Each पहेली has a संकेत (hint) and its उत्तर (answer). Type your answer in Hindi and press जाँचें: small spelling differences like चाँद or चांद, and dots (नुक़्ता), do not matter. They are great for children, school activities and family evenings.

Where do the riddles come from?
We wrote them ourselves for this site, with their hints and explanations. You will not find this exact set anywhere else, and new ones are added from time to time.

On a phone, add the Hindi keyboard in your keyboard settings (Gboard or your phone’s keyboard) or use voice typing. On a computer, add Hindi in Windows language settings. You can also just say the answer aloud and press उत्तर to check.
Are these the old traditional paheliyan?
They are new riddles written in the traditional rhyming style, so even families who know the classic ones will find fresh puzzles here.
