HEIC to JPG Converter: Open iPhone Photos Anywhere (Free, On Device)

iPhones save photos as HEIC, which many Windows PCs, Android apps, websites and government portals cannot open. Drop your HEIC photos here and get ordinary JPG (or PNG) files you can upload anywhere. The conversion runs inside your browser, so your personal photos never leave your device.

Questions

Why does my iPhone save HEIC?

HEIC keeps the same quality as JPG at about half the size. You can switch the camera to JPG in Settings → Camera → Formats → Most Compatible, but converting is easier for photos you already have.

Will the photo lose quality?

At 92% JPG quality the difference cannot be seen. Choose PNG if you need every pixel, though the files will be larger.

Are the location and camera details kept?

No. The converted copies carry no hidden location or camera information, which is safer for sharing.

Is my data private?

Yes. Everything happens inside your own browser: nothing you type or choose is uploaded to us or anyone else.

Is it free?

Completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many times you use it. Light ads keep the site running.
