Many application forms come as fillable PDFs, but phone apps often cannot type into them. Choose the form and every box it contains appears here as a normal field: text, tick boxes, drop-down lists and options. Fill them in and save. Tick “Lock the answers” to flatten the form so nothing can be changed later.

Questions
Why does it say my PDF has no boxes?
Only PDFs with real form fields can be filled. A scanned or printed form has no fields: use the Sign PDF tool’s Type option to place text, or build a new form with our Fillable Form Maker.
Can I type in Hindi or other languages?
Yes. The answers are saved, and PDF readers such as Adobe Reader and Chrome draw them with their own fonts. Locking (flattening) works for English letters; leave it off for other scripts.
What does “Lock the answers” do?
It turns the filled boxes into ordinary page content, so the form looks the same everywhere and cannot be edited. Keep an unlocked copy if you may need to change something.
My PDF says it is password-protected. What now?
If you know the password, open it with our Remove PDF Password tool first, then come back. We cannot (and will not) break passwords you do not have.
Is my data private?
Yes. Everything happens inside your own browser: nothing you type or choose is uploaded to us or anyone else.
Is it free?
Completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many times you use it. Light ads keep the site running.
