Questions
margin or padding?
padding is space inside the border; margin is space outside it, between this box and its neighbours.
Why does my width include the padding?
With box-sizing: border-box the width includes padding and border, which is easier to work with. Most modern sites set it on every element.
Is my data private?
Yes. Everything happens inside your own browser: nothing you type or choose is uploaded to us or anyone else.
Is it free?
Completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many times you use it. Light ads keep the site running.
