Crop PDF Pages: Trim Margins, Drag a Box or Remove White Borders

Scans often come with wide grey edges, and slides exported to PDF can have empty borders that make text tiny on a phone. Drag a box over the part you want to keep, type exact margins in millimetres, or press “Find white margins” to trim to the content. Crop one page, a range, or every page each to its own content.

Questions

Is the cropped part deleted?

The page is cut down to the area you keep, so readers and printers show only that part. The hidden part of the page content stays inside the file; to remove sensitive content permanently use Redact PDF instead.

Does it work on sideways pages?

Yes. Margins always follow the page as you see it, even if the PDF stores it rotated.

My PDF says it is password-protected. What now?

If you know the password, open it with our Remove PDF Password tool first, then come back. We cannot (and will not) break passwords you do not have.

Is my data private?

Yes. Everything happens inside your own browser: nothing you type or choose is uploaded to us or anyone else.

Is it free?

Completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many times you use it. Light ads keep the site running.
