Hang a picture straight, level a washing machine or check a table without hunting for a spirit level. Lay your phone flat to see a round bubble and the tilt in degrees in both directions, or stand it on its edge along a shelf or frame to use it like a bar level. Calibrate it on a surface you trust for the most accurate readings.

Questions
Why does it say no sensor was found?
Tilt and compass sensors are built into phones and tablets, not into most laptops and desktop computers. Open the page on your phone. On iPhone, tap Start and then Allow when Safari asks for Motion & Orientation access.
How accurate is it?
Phone sensors are usually good to about 0.1–0.5°, which is plenty for shelves, pictures and furniture. A phone case with a bump (like a camera bump) can tilt the reading, so calibrate on a known-level surface, or remove the case.
What does Calibrate do?
It remembers the current reading as zero. Put the phone on something you know is level (or on the same spot turned around 180° and average the two) and press Calibrate here.
