Give your brain a short workout with three quick games. Memory flashes squares on a grid for you to remember, adding one more each round. Focus shows colour words printed in the wrong ink: tap the ink, not the word. Speed is a 60-second sprint of sums that get harder as you get them right. Each takes a minute or two, and your best scores are saved.

Questions
Do brain games make you smarter?
Research shows you get better at the games you practise, but improvements do not clearly carry over to general intelligence. They are still a fun way to practise attention, short-term memory and quick arithmetic.
What is the colour-word test?
It is based on the Stroop effect, discovered in the 1930s: reading is so automatic that naming the ink colour of a word like “RED” printed in blue takes longer and causes mistakes. Practising it trains you to focus on the right thing.
How is the Speed score worked out?
Each right answer scores the current level (1 to 10). Three right answers in a row move you up a level; a wrong answer drops a level and costs 3 seconds.
