Balloon Pop Typing Game for Kids: Press the Letter to Pop the Balloon

A happy first step to the keyboard for young children. Colourful balloons rise from the bottom of the screen, each carrying a letter. Press that letter on the keyboard and the balloon pops with a cheerful sound. There is no losing: a round has 25 balloons, and at the end your child gets stars for how many were popped. Choose capital letters (as printed on keyboards), small letters, the home row only, or numbers 0–9, and a slow, medium or fast speed. No keyboard? Open “Tap the letters” to play with taps.

Questions

What age is it for?

Children who know some letters, usually from about 4 to 8 years old. Start with Slow and capital letters, because those match the letters printed on the keys.

Do they need to press Shift for capitals?

No. Any case pops the balloon, so a child can press the A key without Shift.

Is it safe for children?

Yes. There is no chat, no sign-up and nothing to buy inside the game, and nothing a child types is sent anywhere. Like the rest of the site it shows a few ads around the page (never inside the game), so younger children are best supervised.

Is my data private?

Yes. Everything happens inside your own browser: nothing you type or choose is uploaded to us or anyone else.

Is it free?

Completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many times you use it. Light ads keep the site running.
