Attendance Register: Mark Staff, Student and Tuition Attendance with Monthly Report

A free attendance register that replaces the paper muster roll. Add your staff, students or tuition children once, group them by class or team, and mark each day as present, absent, leave or half day in a few taps. The monthly report shows every day as a grid with totals and attendance percentage for each person, ready to download for salary or parents’ meetings.

How to mark attendance

1. Open People and add names, with a class or group if you have more than one (you can paste a whole list, one name per line).
2. Open Mark, check the date and tap P, A, L or H next to each name, or press “Mark all present” and change only the absentees.
3. Open Monthly report, pick the month and see each person’s days, totals and percentage.
4. Download the month as CSV to open in Excel, or to work out salary for daily-wage staff.

Good to know

• Half day (H) counts as half a present day in the percentage.
• Days you have not marked are not counted as absent, so holidays and Sundays do not lower anyone’s percentage.
• Use groups such as “Class 6”, “Morning batch” or “Kitchen” and pick a group to mark only those people.
• The salary register can then use the absent days from this report.

Questions

Where is my data saved?

Only in this browser on this device, the way a chat app keeps chats on your phone. Nothing is uploaded and there is no account. Use Backup to save a copy as a file (Restore brings it back, even on another phone or computer), and back up before clearing your browser data. The My Data tool backs up every record tool in one go.

How is the percentage worked out?

Present days plus half of the half days, divided by all the days you marked for that person in the month. For example 20 present, 2 half days and 2 absent gives 21 ÷ 24 = 87.5%.

Can teachers use it on a phone in class?

Yes. It is built for phones first: big buttons, one name per row, and it keeps working without internet once the page has opened. Install it from the Infinity App for one-tap access.

Can two people share one register?

Records live in one browser. To share, one person makes a Backup and the other Restores it; the latest restore replaces what was there.

Is my data private?

Yes. Everything happens inside your own browser: nothing you type or choose is uploaded to us or anyone else.
